The Tarlac Agricultural University-Laboratory School's annual practice to elect a new set of  Student Council officers was once again conducted through online voting within the period of September 26 to October 2, 2022.

 

ALPAS party, the only party running for positions in the said election, conducted a campaign the week before the election wherein the members promised to make good use of their platforms as student leaders.

 

Although there is just one party, the candidates were required to reach 25% of the Laboratory School's student approval for them to be officially elected.

 

Results of the online election were revealed by the TAU-Office of Student Services and Development (OSSD) Student Organizations in a post made on October 3, 2022.

 

Alyza Mari Mendoza who was running for TAU-LS Chairperson garnered 238 votes, while Jhared Ivan Isidro for Vice-Chairperson acquired 226.

 

Furthermore, the councilors’ vote counts were also disclosed. 

 

Roberto Luiz Macapagal gained 210 votes; Crislaida Yvone Preza, 202; Cybel Allen Cruz, 197; Antoinne Martina Carbonel, 196; Antawn James Ramos, 195; and Raven Lacuin with 188 votes.

“I’m looking forward to the improvements and events na mangyayari with our new student council”, a Grade 11-STEM A student stated.

The student council aims to share the student body’s ideas, interests, and concerns with the school staff and personnel.
