Representing their university, the two gold medalists Fritzie Marley Bautista and Clechel Maeh Vibar reigned the Badminton Singles and Taekwondo Poomsae Singles with their coaches, Ma'am Leslie Ann P. Rotoni and Sir Romeoul Karl Flores, respectively.
"When she won, tears of joy of course, I saw her perseverance and dedication kasi kaya well deserve niya ang manalo. I'm so proud of her, hindi sya nag-let go sa goal nya and tinupad nya ang promise niya na magka-CLRAA kami," Ma'am Rotoni said, expressing her joy towards the Badminton gold medalist.
On the other hand, the chess team players with Sir Jerome Calautit and the poomsae pair with Sir Flores claimed individual silver medals, Ma'am Maribel Aquino's Thelma Agustin and
Robyn Lolarga table tennis singles, the baseball team of Sir Norman Elynmer Cortez, and the poomsae team of Sir Flores bagged bronze medals and together brought honor to their university and their municipality.
"For the CLRAA preparation, there is 1 month rigid training, tune-up games for exposure, and of course meditations lalo yung mga previous games niya. I always tell her na it's herself- ang biggest opponent niya. So ayun, more on improving dapat. Hindi rin mawawala ang weekend with her fam for refreshment and devotion niya kay God," Ma'am Rotoni mentioned.
With the school cheering for them, Fritzie Bautista and Clechel Vibar will continue their athlete venture at the Central Luzon Regional Athletes Association (CLRAA) Meet as they are currently getting ready for the impending competition.
