Welcoming back the students, the Tarlac Agricultural University Laboratory School's (TAU-LS) face-to-face modality is now back on track after the two-year-long online classes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Students from TAU-LS started attending school physically after Dr. Max Guillermo, President of TAU, signed the request letter to conduct face-to-face classes on September 5, 2022.

During the first 9 weeks of the face-to-face classes, the school conducted blended learning so as to not surprise students who have adapted to attending class virtually.

Despite conducting the classes physically, the school maintained proper ventilation and adhered to safety health protocols, such as wearing face masks and observing proper social distancing.

Other than that, the school implemented safety measures and anti-COVID-19 equipment at every entrance of school buildings.

Although the school started with blended learning in the first few weeks, the school is now currently conducting its full face-to-face classes after the announcement of the full implementation of face-to-face classes on November 7, 2022.

Due to the threat brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, face-to-face schooling was forced to stop in school years 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 and was shifted to flexible learning. With the resumption of face-to-face classes this school year 2022-2023, the students and teachers finally entered the TAU-LS campus after two years.

"It's a mixed feeling of excitement and anxiety as we ease back our students to the four walls of classroom after more than 2 years of flexible learning. I know students were all eager to return to the classrooms and mingle with their classmates. Like the students, we, teachers, were also anxious about being back in the classroom and possible catching the covid19 virus. We are doing our part to bring down the anxiety of our students and teachers and that is, we have a schedule of weekly disinfection," Principal of TAU-LS, Mrs. Karen Mariano said.
