The weight of existence,

heavy on my chest,

a burden I cannot lift,

a truth I cannot digest.

I am a student,

learning every day,

yet the lessons of life,

seem to lead me astray.

Existential questions,

everything is futile,

what's the point of it all,

is there something worthwhile?

Depression grips me tight,

a darkness that won't relent,

and the weight of existence,

feels too much to circumvent.

Growing up is hard,

when the world seems so bleak,

and the future holds uncertainty,

and the past feels so weak.

But in the midst of it all,

I find solace in the small,

the moments of beauty,

that remind me of it all.

The sun rising each morning,

the stars shining at night,

the vastness of the universe,

It's just a wonderfull sight.

The weight of existence,

may never fully lift,

but I'll keep on learning,

and finding meaning amidst.
